Macedonia Life-Skills Center (MLSC) is an all-volunteer, 501c3 non-profit organization, organized in 1998 and incorporated in April 2002, that helps youth and adults become self-sufficient and productive citizens. Donations are tax-deductible.

MLSC provides academic, social and physical education programs in a creative and fun environment that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of at-risk and underserved youth and adults. We develop programs and services that equip, empower and support. Through training, education and empowerment, we help individuals move forward to reach their full potential.

Program Relevancy: Statistics have shown that summer months are particularly hard for at-risk and disadvantaged families. Children often go hungry because they miss the free and reduced breakfast and lunch at schools. Children get into trouble because they have nothing to do. During the summer months, our Summer Feeding and Enrichment Program provides breakfast and lunch along with additional snacks and positive, healthy activities in a safe and supervised environment

About Our Programs

During school months, Youth Focus Nights helps youth and adults of all ages come together for bible study, life-skills, fitness and sports, the arts, health and wellness, character education, leadership skills, bullying prevention, and gangs, drugs, alcohol and pregnancy prevention. Refreshments are served.

During summer months our Summer Feeding and Enrichment Program provides youth ages 18 and below with nutritious breakfast and lunch as well as enrichment activities, bible study, and educational field trips.
